Solar Energy

Electricity is becoming expensive with each passing day and more people are getting interested in using solar energy to meet their electricity needs. Solar energy provides a very good alternative which is truly a renewable energy source. Technology in the solar power industry is constantly advancing and improvements will intensify in the future.

India continues to be plagued by a persistent demand/supply mismatch with a five-year average energy deficit of approximately 8% through March 2015 according to the Ministry of Power, which has resulted in upward pressure in power prices. Thus the Indian government has taken a number of steps to incentivize the use of renewable sources of energy. To provide further impetus to solar growth, the Indian government launched the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission, or the NSM, in 2010. Also, solar power generation is viable across most of India and ranks among the highest irradiation-receiving countries in the world with more than 300 days of sunshine per year in much of the country.

Solar Energy is one of our ambitious and upcoming projects. We have started acquiring land from July 2015 in Sullangudi and Nallukuruchi Village ( Virudunagar District, Tamil Nadu ) for this project. We have been discussing with major MNC’s for a tie-up to do this project.  Many other Company have also started their solar project around this region, such as Adani’s 648MW solar power plant in Ramanathapuram district and SunEdison’s 190MW solar power plant in Virudunagar district.
